ELASTIC STRESS-STRAIN ANALYSIS OF CONSTRAINED CYLINDERS BY A SPECIAL FUNCTION

A method is given for computing the strength intensity of stress and strains in cylindrical configurations. Using special functions, we obtain the solution in the complete form. Distinct combinations of geometry and loading are treated. Results are shown to have high resolution and are in good agreement with available theory.
