摘要
A research study was undertaken in Singapore to examine the impact of technology transfer on human resource management practices. Since Japanese electronic films transferred more technology to their subsidiaries in this region than other investors, the current study was carried out in 27 Japanese companies which consented to this study. Based on qualitative analysis and simple statistics the paper highlights the new skills and knowledge that may be focused in the area of Human Resource Management (HRM) to cope with the introduction of new technology.
