摘要
The history of Spanish in China is not as long compared to other languages such as, for example, English. Nevertheless, there is a growing interest as seen by the progressive increase of Spanish studies in China and also of Chinese in Spanish-speaking countries (Ciruela Alferez 2014; Zhang y Cassany 2017; Casas Tot y Cui 2019; Lu Liu 2020). Along with interest in the language, there is also interest in translation as a practical application for job placement. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the teaching of Chinese-Spanish translation in China from the students' point of view. To this end, a mixed methodological approach based on the results obtained from the analysis of their curricula and surveys designed for this purpose is carried out in order to obtain real and updated conclusions. The conclusions indicate that, both in the undergraduate degree of Hispanic Philology and in the subject of Chinese-Spanish translation in China, translation is at an initial stage of development. The results show the need to develop at least a curriculum for Chinese-Spanish translation to meet the urgent needs and fill the gap in this field.
