Profile of somatic cell count on dairy farms in the municipalities of Patos de Minas and Lagoa Grande in the state of Minas Gerais

摘要：
The objective of this study was to analyze the profile of CCS of dairy farms in the municipalities of Patos de Minas and Lagoa Grande and compare the values of CCS with Normative Instruction 62. Twenty farms, chosen randomly, were used with collections of CCS twice a month, totaling 533 samples located in the regions of Patos de Minas and Lagoa Grande, belonging to the state of Minas Gerais. The average results of CCS of seventeen farms (85%) was around 336 x 103, that confirm the quality of the milk from the two regions studied, even in times of greatest challenges as in the rainy season in semi-intensive systems. Only three farms (15%) had values above the wanted (average of 970 x 10(3)).
