摘要
Objective To apprehend the ethical aspect guiding care provided by nurses to the hospitaltzed child. Method: A qualitative study focuising on Alfred Schutz sociological phenomenology. In this sense,, 10 ( ten) nurses crowded In hospitalization units of a municipal, hospital Located in the city of Rio de Janeiro were Interviewed In 2011. Results: For data analysis, the phenomenological interview was adopted, with 02 ( two) categories: Respecting child's privacy and; respecting hospitalized child's family. Concluion:. The nurse's interaction with the child's family allow, actios of care based on respect and strengthening ties, because family Is recognized as ant essential element in nursing assistance.
