The CaO-MgO system has been reevaluated using a two-sublattice model for the ionic liquid phase and a sub-regular solution one for the solid solution by considering almost all of the measured phase diagram data. A set of parameters describing the system is presented, and a comparison with the experimental data is shown. It is demonstrated that some improvements have been made compared with previous assessments.
