摘要
The kinetic equations of both the transient phase and the steady state of some mechanisms, considered as particular cases of a general model for enzyme activation through limited proteolysis, are obtained. Two alternative experimental approaches, an excess of zymogen, or of activating enzyme, are used. Procedures for the evaluation of the kinetic parameters and rate constants are developed and these methods are applied to the simulated data obtained by using a personal computer in order to verify the reliability of the method.
