ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLEXITY: The RETHINK OF MAN-NATURE RELATIONSHIP AND ITS CHALLENGES IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY

This research paper aims to address the dialectical relationship between man and nature in order to demonstrate the urgent need to rethink and restructure this relationship under a complex perspective. Search in the first instance to analyze the evolution of the man-nature relationship and its subsequent reflection in the environmental crisis of the XXI century. From the existing analysis is justified unsustainable pattern of development and environmental protection of commercial bias and simplistic in the current context, introducing the paradigm of complexity as a new way of thinking about the environment and the society that surrounds. Finally, we present some challenges to this vision of environmental complexity in contemporary society. Corroborates, that the construction of an environmental protection embodied in a perspective of complexity is still a challenge, however shows himself able to establish a new way of thinking about the environment through restructuring and awareness of man and its place in nature.
