摘要：
In this paper, a differential equation modeling of bioeconomic systems is discussed. A scaleless form of the Bertalanffy equation [1] is used as the underlying biomass growth equation in a slowly exponentially declining population to discuss the concept of optimal age of harvest. In some specific cases, explicit forms of the optimal age of harvest are derived. It is shown that a tax program may have the effect of increasing the optimal age of harvest. The sensitivity of the optimal age of harvest to biological and economic parameters is also studied.
