摘要
1. The temperatures of (α+β)→β-transition (Tβ) in titanium alloys determined by the metallographic method depend on their initial structure. 2. Nonuniformity of the structure of deformed specimens is the cause of scatter of Tβ in them. 3. When Tβ is determined on specimens deformed in the β-range, it is essential to orient oneself on the lower limit of the boundary of the range of its change to prevent the formation of defective structures in (α+β)-deformation. © 1993 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
