摘要：
The gluteal free flap represents a useful alternative for autologous tissue breast reconstruction in select patients. The safety and reliability of the inferior gluteal flap have been demonstrated in 25 consecutive cases. To make the free gluteal flap work, careful evaluation and preparation of recipient vessels with the liberal use of vein grafts and proper insetting should ensure overall success.
