TRADITIONAL AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING THE "RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND AND CULTURE OF SPEECH" COURSE

Enrichment of students' culture, the development of their communication skills are the aims of the "Russian Language and Social Etiquette" course. The report deals with the Russian language teaching methods in economics higher school. Teaching methods which are aimed at developing students' personality, their interests and abilities are of much interest nowadays. Teaching experience suggests that it is necessary to create a flexible educational model which would combine both traditional teaching methods and up-to-date information technologies. The report deals with the practice of using information technologies in teaching social etiquette. One of the examples of such progressive teaching methods the report focuses on is the "Prometeus" educational computer programme.
