摘要
Thiosemicarbazones of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy benzaldehyde were synthesised and characterised. The antioxidant activity of these compounds has been tested by measuring their ability to counteract degradation during processing of isotactic polypropylene. The melt flow index behaviour of the extruded sample was studied. Heat distortion temperature and Izod impact strength of the compression moulded samples have been measured.
