摘要
Theoretical and experimental modal analysis of model concrete pavements have been undertaken using the Frequency Response Function method. Two slabs of identical dimensions were investigated under different boundary conditions - intact suspended and an intact and cracked slab resting upon a good subgrade and a voided subgrade. A good fit was obtained between the theoretical and experimental investigations. From the value of the first resonant frequency of the slabs it was possible to differentiate between intact and cracked slabs resting upon good and voided subgrades.
