摘要：
A corrosion test for water-based cutting fluids was used to examine the antirust characteristics of the triethanolamine salts of various carboxylic acid derivatives. It was found that the triethanolamine salts of alkyl, alkoxy, nitro and chloro derivatives of benzoic acid exhibited effective rust inhibition, and that the salts of bromo and iodo derivatives, in addition to effective antirust performance, manifested significant antiwear properties.
