摘要
The viscoelastically damped vibrations of sandwich plates are discussed in this paper. The general, non-linear equations of asymmetrical sandwich plates are derived using Hamilton's principle. The transverse shear deformation and rotatory inertia of each layer are included in the equations. The effects of the aspect ratio, material properties on the logarithmic decrement and fundamental frequencies are studied. The Runge-Kutta method is employed in obtaining numerical results.
