POLARIZED XAFS IN SUPERCONDUCTIVE LA2-XSRXCUO4 CRYSTALS

摘要：
The local structure in oxide superconductor La2-xSrxCuO4 was determined by the polarized XAFS study. The structure was found to be different from the averaged structure determined by diffraction studies. Especially, the average distance between copper and oxygen atoms, which increases by 0.02 Angstrom at low temperatures, is discussed in terms of the broken inversion symmetry.
