Ecclesiological studies in ecumenical perspective: the catholic-lutheran dialogues

This document highlights the ecumenical relations that were established between the Catholic and Lutheran. In an era marked by the need for a true ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, it is important to reflect on the actions and key moments of this rapprochement between the Catholic Church and some Lutheran confessions; therefore, we analyze the urgent need for interreligious dialogue, which historically has been in constant tension and conflict. That is the hope that the both churches could find a new unit in their common service in the world, according to the Gospel of Jesus.
