摘要
The development of vibropack technology for producing fuel rods for the BOR-60 reactor required the production of facilities for obtaining information on fuel distribution in the fuel rod during all development and operation steps, i.e., during investigation and optimization of the production technology for test fuel rods and during production of mixed-oxide fuel rods. In such facilities, gamma absorption is used to measure the fuel density; in addition, the gamma self-emission of plutonium is sampled when fuel rods with mixed-oxide fuel are tested. The facilities provide sufficient accuracy and operational control for all practical purposes.
