摘要
The current study involved a group of 25 individuals with severe brain injury and their significant others, all of whom were interviewed 1, 3, and 5 years after injury. Results showed a trend of improvement in psychological and social functioning between 1 and 5 years. Physical capabilities were significantly improved between 1 and 3 years. Many participants continued to have deficits in certain psychosocial areas.
