摘要：

Thaumatoconcha pix is described and illustrated from specimens collected at bathyal and abyssal depths (770-2900 m) from the continental slope off SE Australia. It is distinguished from previously described species by the morphology of the male copulatory organ. The genus has not been reported previously from the vicinity of Australia.
