DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL LEARNING MATERIALS FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

The present article discusses some issues in the development of digital materials in foreign language teaching. After a brief theoretical overview of the need for e-learning, the author makes discusses the history of the introduction of computer-based sessions in foreign language classes. Practical experience allows drawing implications for developing learning materials for computer-assisted language learning (CALL). The author presents some practical solutions and looks at the possibilities for motivated teachers to develop their own learning materials to tailor content for the needs of their courses.
