摘要
Many studies developed important researches for understanding the determinants of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in China. As scholars demonstrate, China is the first developing country in terms of FDI (Moran, Graham and Blomstrom, 2005, p. 316) and the second, worldwide, after USA. This study is concerned with presenting and explaining the determinants of the FDI in China, but the main focus will be upon the Asian FDI interest factors in China. To be more precisely, this paper will analyze the investments coming from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and the industries that these specific economies are mostly investing in. With the help of proper literature review and personal investigation, this study is aiming to present the trends of the FDI in the modern Chinese world. The result will indicate that the Chinese market is very attractive for the above mentioned countries, as it keeps renewing itself, by developing in new industries segments or by sustaining the more traditional economic zones in a political safety environment.
