摘要
alpha -Fe particles as well as gamma -Fe particles were observed at the grain boundary, and the question arose as to whether the alpha -Fe precipitates from the sequence of gamma yields alpha or nucleates directly at the grain boundary. This problem was also examined experimentally. Results of electron microscope investigations to examine the transition from gamma to alpha are presented.
