摘要：
Present paper introduces he multiphase flow metering technology: in this context, a multiphase meter is a device or system of devices, which allows measuring individual flowrates of oil, water, and gas without separating hem, when they simultaneously flow through a pipe. The paper stresses out the importance of multiphase production technologies such as hose connecting oil and gas producing fields to facilities located both on the surface and offshore. Also, the paper reports the historical evolution, current status, and future development of the technology.
