COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AND THE LANGUAGES TEACHING

The authors of the present document make a general review of the competences in the education context, and focuse in the oral discourse competence of language in a formal context. Therefore, the paper makes a description of the communicative competence from several points of views (Alcon E., 2000) Next; it makes emphasis in the oral discourse competence. The authors provide a concept definition and they argue about the importance of its development in the language class. Also, a brief analysis of used texts to work on the oral communication is given. Finally, the authors provide with some suggestions taken from other language acquisition researchers in order to develop the oral discourse competence in learning contexts.
