摘要
Panamanian private interest foundations are gaining popularity. While trusts have long been regarded as the go to vehicles for estate planning purposes, clients from various jurisdictions, including Panama, are turning to private interest foundations as their first choice for estate planning needs. This is mainly due to the fact that Panamanian private interest foundations are separate legal entities that are quite simple to understand and have several attractive features for clients. This article explores some of these features in comparison to trusts.
