摘要
This article deals with some unique practices common in Spanish church music during the first twothirds of the Twentieth century, between Pio X's motu proprio on sacred music and the liturgical changes originated by the II Vatican Council. Although these forms arose in diametrically different contexts (on the one hand, in joyful occasions such as Corpus Christi and patron-saint festivities, and on the other, in funeral rites), both the "Misa de Gaita" (a Bagpipe Mass of limited geographical distribution) and the widespread "Gorigori" attest to the continued generation of hybrid forms and practices derived from Gregorian chant. Both are also particularly surprising in light of the Church's severe directives for sacred music in this period.
