摘要
Finding an alternative design for oil well sucker-rod pump to improve reliability and save production equipment maintenance costs is a major issue faced by AO Chernogorneft. Experience gained with screw pumps driven from the surface has revealed their feasibility at Samotlor wells since they provide 40 cu m daily flows opposed to typical sucker rod pumps. These new designs offer smaller surface equipment, faster installation and lower construction costs involved in development of marginal fields.
