摘要
Among the many people who live in French Guiana, the Guianese Creole is an important sociocultural group, because of history, even if they are a minority. Folded on Cayenne, the Guyanese Creole sociocultural group tries to maintain its political and cultural domination because he knows a proportional decrease due to immigration flows. Moreover, the proportional decrease of Guyanese Creole is masked by the fact that they are largely represented by local political elites. To conserve political and cultural power, they used two ideologies: the ideology of the quest of African and Amerindian roots and the ideology of assimilation of French culture. Thus, urban space reflects the identity of the socio-cultural group but it is also establishing the identity. It is where Creoles express their existence and their desire to dominate. This field of social activity revealed also territorial affiliation.
