摘要
In this study, we analyzed the Psicotecnia journal from 1939 to 1945, just one publication via of spanish psychotechnicians, created by Instituto Nacional de Psicotecnia, in order to know the historical development of Spanish psychology after the war. Using bibliometric methods, we examined the most productive Spanish authors, subject contents and references. The results show that the most productive authors belonged to the editorial board. Most of them were psychotechnicians, doctors and psychiatrists. The most common subjects were professional orientation and selection. Most references were German, particularly from Gestalt Psychology. In conclusion the studies of the journal, present a Spanish, applied, post-war psychology in its formation stages which, in spite of Franco's regime isolationism, managed to survive and developed a psychotechnical role as it served the social needs of the time.
