摘要
Introduction: The main objective of the research was to describe the degree of job satisfaction of nurses Bucaramanga Clinics and Hospitals and the Metropolitan area, for it identified the sociodemographic characteristics, and identified the characteristics of nursing work. Material and Methods: This is a multicenter descriptive study whose sample consisted of 218 nurses working in the public and private sector clinics and hospitals in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area. The following questionnaire of job satisfaction and S10/12 Melia JMPeiro JL (1998) modified to include some descriptive and intrinsic aspects of the theory of Herzberg. Results: As the educational level a large percentage 47.2% have not done any further study of its undergraduate, 25.7% have some specialization and 24.8% graduate; also only 1.8% have master's and 0.5% have PhD. 67.9% in the job category is 27.5% overall and is a specialist. As to the hierarchy the 88.1% work as nurses and 0.9% service exercise supervisory duties. The results also show that environmental factors and monitoring are within an average of 5.2 and a standard deviation of 1.3 which is equivalent to saying that the nurses are satisfied, on the other hand, the factor that generates the most disagreement is the social benefits half of 4.7 and a standard deviation 1.6. Discussion and Conclusions: Since the results of the study as most items show that people are satisfied, however despite this it is striking that a high proportion wants to work abroad.
