摘要：
Simultaneous and parallel blood pressure measurements on both upper arms in 54 patients in 1710 single measurements using matching sphygmomanometers did not show significant differences. Each subject's systolic blood pressure at rest was < 140 mmHg. Deviations between the upper arms were minor with a few exceptions that did not exceed 10 mmHg. However, to obtain reliable data, simultaneous and parallel blood pressure measurements on both upper arms using 2 matching sphygmomanometers is highly recommended.
