摘要
Since the early 80's there is a discussion in german literature about mentioning inadequate use of games as a form of addiction or not. This is mainly focused on pathologic gambling. The presenting case study shows signs of addiction based on video and computer games. So it confirms the arguments for a positive connection between both. A new classification, based on Jellinek's groups of alcoholics, is discussed for better further evaluations. The case thereby presents a delta type of addiction.
