摘要
Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to consider the implications for integrated care of a recent Court of Appeal judgment about legal obligations owed to staff working in integrated care. Design/methodology/approach - Analysis of the law relating to the imposition of duties of care and how that law was applied in the integrated care context. Findings - It was found that integrated care partners may find themselves with more extensive legal obligations towards the employees of partner organisations than had been anticipated. Originality/value - The article assesses the first decision of the higher courts about the obligations owed to staff by non-employing integrated care providers.
