ENVIRONMENTAL-POLICY RESEARCH AND GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS

Government publications are necessary for environmental policy research. To use these publications effectively, one should have an understanding of the prevailing public sentiment and government action that helped determine their content. A historical context for this understanding is presented in this paper. Examples of United States and United Nations environmental policy-making are chronologically traced in separate annotated bibliographies.
