摘要
The origins of a nonmonotonic trend in wetting of Ni-Si-B filler metals with a composition of Ni-Cr substrates, as observed during sessile drop wetting tests, has been examined. It is suggested that this trend arises from interactions between isothermal solidification and reduction of the substrate oxide by filler metal constituents.
