摘要：
The universe observed at hectometer (i.e. hundreds of meters) wavelengths differs from its appearance at shorter wavelengths as day differs from night. In order to reach the ground, long wavelength radiation has to penetrate the ionosphere. In the northern hemisphere, the most transparent place is located near Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
