摘要
First, we show that the calculation method presented in our previous papers is useful for the estimation of the relationship between the shear load and the shear deformation angle in a North-American type plywood-sheathed wall with openings for the following cases from a comparison with the results of the tests on 1/3-scale walls with openings: (1) The ratio of the depth to the width in the wall space above and/or below an opening is more than 1/4, and (2) The sheathing area ratio is not less than 55%. Furthermore, we show the results of the analyses, based on our calculation method, of the panel shear forces and the nail slips in the individual wall panel elements of the two types of shear walls taken as examples.
