The adsorption of I- anion on the mercury electrode has been studied from differential capacity and surface tension measurements, in KI-KF solutions at constant ionic strength 0.5 M containing a 10 % of methanol, ethanol or n-propanol. The influence of these alcohols on the adsorption process in discused.
