摘要
Several different configurations of the sizing block in a continuous pipe-welding mill are examined in order to reduce variation of the thickness of the skelp in the longitudinal direction. It is shown that the best process indices are obtained when the block is configured with the use of multi-bearing shafts as the backup rollers. Tests that were performed entailed study of a coefficient and a parameter that characterize the degree of equalization of the longitudinal thickness variation, as well as the way in which the variation is affected by different parameters in the sizing block.
