摘要
 In the present note pure stress equations of motion are used to model Bleustein-Gulyaev waves in a non-homogeneous, piezoelectic half-space of crystal symmetry class 6 mm. It is shown the existence of a stress function which satisfies an ordinary, linear, fourth-order differential equation for an arbitrary non-homogeneity.
