摘要
Abstract: A bundled software has been developed for studying the distribution of the electromagnetic field of a therapeutic coil during pulsed transcranial magnetic stimulation. The basis of the bundled software is a mathematical model of electromagnetic processes occurring in an impulse system (energy source–matching system–current circuit or coil–biological object). The geometry of the brain model is determined by mathematical processing of magnetic resonance images. The numerical implementation of the mathematical model makes it possible to obtain the distribution of the magnetic-field induction and current density in the model of gray- and white-matter tissues with an arbitrary shape of the coil pulse current. The results obtained for a certain type of coil, as well as the shape and duration of the current pulse, make it possible to determine the areas in which the maximum current density is observed in the brain model. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
