Fecoptysis—a Rare Entity

Colobronchial fistulas are a rare entity. We report a 68-year-old male who presented with fecoptysis for 5 years. He had a history of exploratory laparotomy 35 years back. Subsequent investigations revealed a colobronchial fistula. The patient was treated with a combined laparoscopic-mini thoracotomy approach. He is disease free at present. This case enlightens the need to investigate the varied presentations and the need for different diagnostic modalities that go into discerning any of such unaccustomed and unusual symptoms.
