Homogenization and Management of Cement Quality from Raw Materials to the Finished Product Using a Numerical Method of Mixture Calculation

In spite of the improvements of the exploitation methods, the problem of the raw materials’ quality and stability is not solved. The old calculation method of a cement mixture is based on the principal of groping. This procedure induced significant losses for the manufacturing unit at technical and economic level. However, the purpose of recent studies is to consider a numerical method for the raw material mixture calculation and the conception of a cement management. The introduction of the homogenization process into the technological chain of manufacture of cement and mixture calculation, in accordance with the quality standards, allows us to find solutions. This study has shown that it is possible to manufacture all types of clinkers by respecting the technological constraints and the standards (norms), specially the oil cement, using the developed method and the software. The obtained results show that the alternatives found for clinker CPA is 300, for CRS is 213, and for oil clinker is 282. In short, this important number of solutions constituted a mixture zone where there are all the manufacturing possibilities of a desired clinker.
