摘要
This paper addresses the problem of finite-time synchronizing controller for a class of nonlinear systems. Here, we aimed to propose a general procedure which utilizes the backstepping technique for designing the control functions. A step by step mechanism based on Lyapunov stability theory is adopted to obtain the desired synchronizing controllers. Further, synchronization of master–slave configuration of systems belonging to proposed class in finite-time is guaranteed by using the derived control functions. The proposed general procedure for the targeted synchronization task in finite-time leads to reduction of required number of control functions. Numerical simulations of chaotic systems such as Lorenz–Stenflo, Lorenz, and Lü systems reveal the efficiency of the proposed methodology and also verify the theoretical results.
