摘要：
It is shown that linear shrinkage curves can be helpful in gaining insight into how an enemel coating is formed as the powdered bond coat is fritted. In particular, they can be of assistance in assessing the degree of oxidation for the substrate surface. The results reported here can be used both when existing enameling processes are to be improved and new ones designed.
