The new species Trixis forzzae Borges and Saavedra, from Serra do Ibitipoca, Minas Gerais, Brazil is described and illustrated. Taxonomic relationships with similar species and those of similar geographical distribution are discussed. © 2010 The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
