It is even more surprising to see for how long a well organized trade sector succeeds, even in our media concentrated century, to hide its own particular economic interests behind arguments of a holy war for the cultural values of a nation. Clearly, an important role must be attributed to the fact that the same enterprises published books and newspapers alike It is important . . . to realize that business circles may rely on the support of the German government in enforcing their own particular interests.
