摘要：
Die Harnröhrenstriktur ist eine narbige Verengung der Harnröhre und eine mögliche Ursache für eine subvesikale Obstruktion. Unbehandelt kann sie einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Lebensqualität des Patienten haben und zu nachhaltigen Schäden des Harntraktes bis hin zur Niereninsuffizienz führen. Der therapeutische Erfolg wird durch eine relativ hohe Rezidivrate getrübt. Eine zielgerichtete Anamnese und Diagnostik sind deshalb für die Festlegung der adäquaten Therapie besonders wichtig. Dieser Übersichtsartikel soll die klinische Präsentation sowie den diagnostischen Workup der Harnröhrenstriktur zusammenfassen.
